Sleep Sound in the Morning

Ian McCamy - Sleep sound in the Morning I formed the Celtic Reelers in 1998 when I met liked spirited musicians in the South of France. I had been playing with Pascal Segard in our original duo Whiskey for Breakfast, formed in Paris during 1993, when I got some calls to play in a couple festivals with a full band so the Celtic Reelers came to life. We survived the first summer season and cramming into a friends garage we recorded what we had been playing on stage in October 1999. And thanks to the help of many friends; Robert Crumb who did the artwork, Dominique Cravic who gave his support and Fremeaux records who took the risk, it came out in April 2000. And went on to get many great revues, got nominated on the European World Music Charts and was the beginning of a beautiful friendship! - Ian McCamy
